Sedene is the latest newcomer to the runway scene. Hailing from Jamaica, we can only imagine NYC’s weather forecast made for a rough debut season. She was a real trooper and managed to meet important clients regardless of the snow piling up all around her. Luckily, this beauty conquered the cold and has gone on to explore the runways of Europe. The results of our recent go-see with Sedene make it easy to see why everyone is falling for her.

Sebastian Faena has a knack for turning a pristine and natural environment into a fabulous stage for a sexy photo shoot. His latest editorial in V magazine provides the story of a gorgeous woman frolicking in the wilderness with a couple of very handsome young men. We got our hands on some behind-the-scenes footage from this super sexy shoot. You can see just how committed Sebastian is to achieving his vision of this lakeside Cabin Fever story.

The minute Valerija walked into our office last season we could tell she was going to be a STAR – she has it written all over her face. Valerija hasn’t disappointed us this season, as she is booking so many shows we have run out of fingers to count them! Her look on the runway is consistent and determined, and yet she can pull off a variety of styles. Just take a look below.

We’re no fortune tellers, but from the moment we met Marike in January we knew we were in the presence of future greatness. We were so impressed, we jumped at the opportunity to do an exclusive video on this rising star during NY Fashion Week. We followed Marike from the tents of Bryant Park to castings, fittings and shows for Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Charlotte Ronson and much more! Every fashion week model agencies find fresh and exciting ways to present their newest girls. This season Supreme was a winner, showing off some truly unique young models. One of the newbies that stood out for us was Alina. Her fresh face and delicate features seem to be the perfect palette for the brush of a makeup artist. Her natural look translates really well in a photograph, yet we could imagine her looking equally gorgeous all done up.

The moment we were out of our meeting today we RUSHED to see the footage of the Rodarte show on SHOWstudio. It was everything we hoped it would be, and the designers are certainly living up to their reputation. The collection began with a shot of white candles burning at the start of the runway. Rich fabrics were draped, layered, wrapped and tucked around each girl’s body creating sculptural shapes and forms. The clothing was artfully done, but easy to imagine how one might wear. We love.

We see a lot of models, but Mathilde Frachon is one of those girls you just remember. We think her pouty lips and beautiful mane of hair is to-die-for. Although Mathilde is only 18, she already possesses a graceful, ladylike Parisian air that inherently puts her a step ahead of the pack.
