As we approach the birthday of the Art + Commerce PRODn blog (we will be 1 year old on June 29th!), we have been doing a lot of thinking about what we enjoy most about the blog. We absolutely love writing about the models who come by our offices on a daily basis, and one of the most gratifying aspects of sharing our go-sees with our readers has been hearing your thoughts and opinions about everyone we see! We sat down with our casting director to look back at the go-sees we have done over the past six months, and picked out 12 of the most memorable girls from our archives. This time though, we want to know who you love, and why! Next week, we’ll do a little write up of the girls with the most votes.
Below are our voting categories, but feel free to vote on girls in any category you can think of!

This morning we met Kenny Wayne, the newest addition to Red Models. Straight out of Detroit, Michigan, Kenny is the sweetest, most charismatic male newcomer we have met as of late. Red is billing him as their “new rocker boy,” and while his look screams “rock on!!!” we found him to be completely laid back and charming. Kenny is the perfect balance between a positive attitude and edgy looks. Besides, how can you really ROCK without long hair?!
Gaspard Ulliel is hot, there’s no doubt about it. From his seductive looks (talk about perfect bone structure!) to his iconic roles on the silver screen, it does not take much to make Gaspard look absolutely irresistible. That’s why we were virtually frozen to the new cover of Dazed & Confused. Sølve Sundsbø has worked his magic on this cover, transforming the young French soldier from A Very Long Engagement, and the young Hannibal Lechter, into a sultry style icon. The strategically minimal lighting depicts Gaspard as a handsome gangster: all grown up!
We love discovering under-the-radar films that have yet to be examined by the mainstream. The clip below, filmed in 1985 takes us back in time to witness the continually developing and unique vision of Walter Pfeiffer. Mr. Pfeiffer’s work can be described as distinctive and ahead of its time. Considering all the elements at play we must say, the haircuts in this video are totally of the moment!
Welcome back from Memorial Day weekend. The good news is, its a four day week!
Last week’s quiz was a photo, which included a young actress we are all familiar with. This young lady was a star on the hit series The O.C. and is known for her taste in “bad-boy” boyfriends. For those of you who guessed the girl sitting on the far right of the station wagon was Mischa Barton you were right!

Monday is Memorial Day so you know what that means: three day weekend! Some of us are spending it by hanging out with friends in NYC, some will be with our family in Long Island, while others will be at the beach catching some rays, or maybe even camping. Most importantly, however, all of us will be having a barbecue! We were thinking of doing a quiz all about high fashion BBQs, but then we spotted this gem of an editorial from the October 1997 issue of Vogue Italia. Can you spot and name the young Hollywood celeb in this image? We can’t wait to see if you can get this one right!
Vika at Supreme had a strong presence on our casting boards ever since she made her first appearance on the fashion scene in early 2008. Every time we spot her in an editorial, we love her more. We haven’t seen much of the freckled beauty since she walked the Jil Sander runway last season, but after a go-see at our office this month, we are praying we see more of her in the pages of our favorite publications! Just take a look at the seductive energy this muse projects for the camera.
There could not be a better phrase to describe this 10 magazine editorial shot by Claudia Knoepfel and Stefan Indlekofer: Scorching Hot. From the allusion to a bull fighting ring and the magenta cast over the entire shoot, to the fact that every shot has just the right amount of sand, grit and haze, we are loving the down-and-dirty tough girl styling by the super cool stylist David Vandewal. He sure knew what he was doing when he dressed Marina Peres for the part of skirt-wearing toreador!

As we watched Lars Burmeister glide into our offices last week, we could tell he was born to be a model. The 28 year-old from Hamburg had such a cool and calm aura about him, we were instantly charmed.
We were surprised to learn that modeling was not his original career path. He was working as a mechanic in Germany when his sister insisted on sending in some snapshots of him to a model agency based in Milan. Lars was immediately signed to Ford Models and was walking in major Milan shows such as Dolce & Gabbana and Versace by early 2005.
Since then Lars has signed two exclusive contracts with Hugo Boss, and is the face of the Armani fragrance Aqua di Gio. We can’t believe this one almost got away!
OK so maybe we won’t have a TV party per se, but we are seriously considering making a big bowl of popcorn, renting the documentary on Glenn O’Brien’s infamous all-access cable show “Glenn O’Brien’s TV Party,” and calling it a night. If you didn’t get to see the documentary when it was screened at the 2005 Tribeca Film Festival, we think you should consider checking it out, or at least adding it to your Netflix queue! Take a look at the trailer below, and let us know what you thought after you watch the movie!
